Welcome to our farm!
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enriching experience for everyone, we request all guests to kindly follow these guidelines.
DO’s
- Inform Us of Any Health Conditions or Allergies: Please notify our team in advance if you have any medical conditions, food allergies, or special requirements so we can take the necessary care. Kindly note that Saguna Baug is an active agricultural farm, and wheelchair access may not be possible in all areas.
- Check Your Vehicle Before Visiting: Our location is in a rural area, and the roads leading to the farm pass through several villages. These roads can be narrow and crowded, especially during holidays. Please ensure your vehicle is in good condition and your driver is well-rested.
- Respect Nature: Enjoy the natural surroundings without disturbing plants, animals, or the ecosystem.
- Ask & Learn: We love sharing knowledge! Feel free to ask our team about farm activities, agricultural techniques, or local traditions.

- Use Waste Bins: Help us maintain a clean environment by disposing of litter and recyclables in the designated bins.
- Drive Slowly: Please drive carefully while passing through villages and within the farm premises. Rural roads are often shared with people and animals, and it’s common for them to enter the roadway unexpectedly. Be especially cautious of brown-coloured dogs and buffaloes, which can be difficult to spot and are a common cause of accidents in such areas.
- Respect Local Culture and Language: We request all guests to be respectful of local traditions, customs, and language while interacting with staff and villagers.
- Women’s Comfort & Safety: We maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all women guests and staff. Please ensure appropriate behaviour at all times.
- Use Your Imagination and Intelligence While Interacting: Be thoughtful and mindful when making new friends or meeting people. Every interaction shapes the experience—make it a meaningful one.
- Visit the River or Go Boating Only with a Guide: For your safety, do not visit the river or enter boats without being accompanied by an authorized staff member or guide.
- Carry Appropriate Clothing and Essentials: Please dress comfortably and seasonally (e.g., light cotton clothes in summer, warm layers in winter). We also recommend bringing a personal first aid kit, insect repellent, any prescribed medications, and sun protection such as caps, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Don’t forget a refillable water bottle, farm-appropriate shoes, and extra clothing for swimming or outdoor activities.
Please note: There is no chemist shop nearby, so come prepared for minor emergencies.
- Follow Pet Policy for an Enjoyable Trip: If you’re traveling with pets, keep them leashed, clean up after them, and respect farm rules to ensure a safe and happy experience for all.
DON’Ts
- Do Not Litter: Please dispose of all trash and waste in the designated bins to help us maintain a clean and eco-friendly environment.

- Do not handle or touch children without the consent of their parents or guardians.
- Do Not Pluck Fruits or Flowers: Kindly refrain from picking anything on the farm unless permitted by the staff.

Water used for food preparation and making sharbat is purified RO water to ensure health and safety. - Ice Usage
Ice used in food and beverages is sourced from a local vendor, as we do not produce it on-site. - Non-potable Utility Water
Water used in washrooms is drawn directly from the river and passed through basic filtration. While suitable for cleaning purposes, it is not safe for drinking and may appear discoloured during monsoon or sand-mining activity. - Bottled Water Option
Packaged drinking water is available for purchase at our in-house shop for guests who prefer bottled options.
